It supervises the observance of the rules of civil coexistence. Contributes, within the scope of the Municipal (City) Police Act or other law, to the safety and smooth flow of traffic on the roads. Detects misdemeanours and other administrative offences. It is an organ of the municipality and reports directly to the Mayor.
