The Ophthalmology Department provides outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic care mainly to patients of the hospital, whether outpatients or inpatients. Among surgical procedures, we perform cataract surgery and plastic surgery of the eyelids and their surroundings for medical and aesthetic reasons.

I run a neurology clinic for children and adults.

Ocular Oncology Center provides diagnosis, surgical treatment and brachytherapy for primary and metastatic tumors of the eye. Preventive follow-up of patients with findings in which a possible malignant relapse cannot be excluded and regular follow-up of patients after treatment are integral parts of the service.

Pediatric Eye Center treats patients with congenital eye defects, squint, squint, refractive errors, ocular inflammation, etc. Children from birth, including premature babies, up to the age of 18 are followed and treated here. Patients for comprehensive examination or surgery are admitted to the children's inpatient ward.

The Macular Center cares for patients with retinal and macular diseases. Some special examination methods such as fluorescence and indocyanine angiography and optical coherence tomography contribute to the diagnosis.

Provides comprehensive care - i.e., diagnosis and treatment of all forms of uveitis and surgery for complications associated with uveitis for patients throughout the Czech Republic. Conducts consultations for patients with complicated or unusual courses of intraocular inflammation for other ophthalmology departments in the Czech Republic as needed.

The center deals with the diagnosis and management of orbital disorders of various etiopathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of neuritis and neuropathies, diagnosis of visual pathway disorders, management of orbital expansions and injuries, endocrine orbitopathy issues. A significant part of the activity is also diagnostics and therapy of diseases.

The centre specialises in the diagnosis and treatment (mainly surgical and laser) of retinal and vitreous diseases, including in particular retinal detachment and retinal vascular disease, some forms of macular disease, trauma and intraocular inflammation.

We are dedicated to the treatment of all corneal disorders, especially ketaraton, corneal dystrophies, dry eye syndrome, conjunctivitis, cornea and sclera. We treat patients with corneal manifestations arising as a consequence of a number of general diseases, e.g. rheumatoid arthritis.

Provides comprehensive care. Diagnosis and treatment of all types of the most complex forms of glaucoma. Management of diagnosis and possible treatments for patients with advanced changes in visual function for decompensated stages of glaucoma.

Diabetic Eye Center provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with ocular complications of diabetes mellitus. We provide screening, diagnosis and treatment of diabetic ophthalmopathy.

We provide comprehensive care in the field of ophthalmology. We focus on the treatment of retinal diseases from laser photocoagulation, vitreous injections to pars plana vitrectomy. We are involved in the follow-up of patients with glaucoma. Using OCT, angiography and spec. software we cover the whole range of macular disease diagnostics.
