Offering library services. Tables with armchairs are available for use in the library for comfortable seating and relaxation. There are fiction and non-fiction books, games, puzzles, crayons, and a memory game for children.
Bookstore and eshop. Over 70,000 titles of books from many publishers for adults and children, e-books, audiobooks on CD, textbooks, toys, games, calendars, diaries, maps, stationery, giftware. Pre-sale of books on the e-shop. Orders from the e-shop can be picked up at the shop.
The library is one of the largest branches of the KJM with a high quality book collection, which is also widely used by visitors to other branches, and it organises events for the public. The branch has a book box and a Family Point with a changing table. Wheelchair access to the adult section is provided by a platform.
The library belongs to the medium-sized branches of the KJM, it is located on the ground floor of the Brno-Vinohrady Municipal Council building and has barrier-free access. It has a separate department for adult and children readers, it implements educational programmes for schools and organises a number of cultural and educational events for the general public.
The library belongs to the small branches of the KJM and provides basic lending and information services to readers of all ages. It belongs to the KJM network of automated operations. It cooperates with local kindergartens and primary schools for which it implements educational programmes. CDs with spoken word and board games are available for loan.
Lending books and magazines, offering internet access. The library has a total of 4500 volumes of books for its readers. We organise exhibitions of mainly ceramic products of local children from the ceramics club, and we provide a number of events for our children's readers in cooperation with kindergartens and primary schools.
The library manages more than 400,000 specialized publications and periodicals in social sciences, arts and sciences. It provides its services not only to the museum staff but also to the general public. Most of the literature is intended for full-time study only.
