Operation of a library with specialist literature. We conduct research in the history of Czech and European musical culture after 1600, with a focus on music of the 18th-20th centuries. We offer the preparation of a national subject bibliography.

The LUXOR bookstore is located on the lower floors of the Palladium Shopping Center. We operate a depository and library focusing on Judaic studies, history, Hebraic studies, Nazism, Holocaust, anti-Semitism, art history and museology. The library has a sheltered research room and a study room.

The largest publicly accessible library in the Czech Republic specialising in art, architecture and design - the collection comprises over 190,000 volumes. Entrance to the library is free, registration is required to access the entire collection and services. The UPM library lends only in person.
