The Liberec Seniorate of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren is a community of congregations in the north of the Czech Republic united for common church activities and administration.
We provide aid to victims of natural disasters, support missionaries and traveling ministers, and help build places of worship in developing countries. We hold worship services, retreats, Bible studies, public lectures, and ministry gatherings.
The parish holds services and spiritual gatherings at St. Anthony the Great Church. The church was built on the site of the original wooden church, which is also connected with the first mention of Liberec in 1352 in connection with the payment of tithes. The reconstruction of the church into a three-aisle brick church began on 17 June 1579.
We hold regular or special services, religious meetings and Bible readings. Services are for adults and children, church members and the general public. We are involved in humanitarian work and religious freedom activities.
The religious community holds religious services and spiritual meetings. We hold tours, concerts, exhibitions and lectures. We take up collections and provide assistance to those in need.
