A publicly accessible library and a contributory organization, whose founder is the City of Bruntál. Since 2015, the library has been housed in the reconstructed building of the former German Boys' Seminary, which has been a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 2002.

Library services are provided to users by lending our own library collection and through an interlibrary loan service. Internet access is also available to readers.
