A public benefit society founded by Zdeněk Svěrák and the Svaz Svaz paraplegiků civic association. Since 1994 it has been helping people in wheelchairs after spinal cord injury and their families to cope with difficult life situation. The main service is residential social rehabilitation.
We believe that every child deserves a happy and fulfilled childhood, regardless of the circumstances into which they are born. That's why we help disadvantaged children, youth rediscover joy and happiness despite their difficult life situation.
The mission of the helpline is to provide quality and accessible help to children, students up to the age of 26. We help with challenging life situations and everyday worries and problems. Our Parent Helpline offers services to parents, grandparents, and educators. We organize courses in crisis intervention.
We provide social services for homeless people. We operate a hostel and an asylum. We also focus on nursing rehabilitation, maintaining contact with people living on the streets for a long time and reducing health risks related to living on the streets.
We hold regular or special services and religious meetings. Services are for adults and children, church members and the general public. The parish organizes baptisms, pilgrimages for worship, holy communion, faith talks, soul devotions, confession afternoons and other occasional events.
