The hospital was founded by the South Bohemia Region and has eight inpatient wards with 306 beds for acute and follow-up care and an extensive range of specialist outpatient care. The natural catchment area is the Strakonice, Klatovy, Prachatice and Písek regions.

We sell books, paper models, postcards, puzzles and DVDs. We supply titles in fiction, economics, law, finance, esotericism, history, medicine, poetry, lyric poetry, computer literature and gardening. We also sell games, toys, calendars and diaries.
