Providing library services. The library in Heřmanův Městec is one of the oldest in the country. Already in 1818 Puchmajer documents the organizational statutes of the local reading circle, which later became a public library. The library has two departments, one for adults and one for children.

The state vocational secondary school provides education in four-year fields of agribusiness, animal husbandry, science lyceum, plant medicine. Possibility of distance study. We offer accommodation for students in double and triple rooms with bathrooms located in the corridor. The capacity of the facility is 81 accommodation places.

There is a gymnasium, grass and asphalt playgrounds, a running oval, climbing frames for young children and a ping pong table. We provide speech therapy counselling. We offer dance, movement, singing or ceramics clubs.

Operation of a kindergarten with three classes with a capacity of 56 children with a dining room. Offering a singing group and speech therapy counselling. We organize trips to nature and culture.

Operation of a primary school with a capacity of 170 pupils with a day care centre for 50 children and a canteen. The school uses verbal assessment of pupils without the use of grades. We offer drama, art and dance clubs including drumsticks, yoga, reading, woodwork or piano and guitar lessons and English language.
