We operate a state primary school for 320 pupils with a day care and canteen. We organize sports, cultural and social events for pupils and their parents. State vocational high school provides instruction in four-year courses ending with a baccalaureate in forestry, ecology and environment, safety and legal activities, and social work. We run an airsoft and falconry club and an equestrian club. We organize tourist courses in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The present school was opened in 1871. Side wings were added in 1886. The whole school grounds have been gradually renovated. It includes a multi-purpose sports field, the Bohemian Switzerland visitor area with an outdoor classroom, school canteen and day care facilities.
