Providing information on attractions, transport, accommodation and cultural and sporting activities in the town and surrounding area. We offer advance ticket sales for cultural events, printing and public internet access. We sell tourist stamps, postcards, maps and more.

We organize puppet theatre performances for children and adults, concerts and professional seminars on puppets. We organize a national show of amateur puppetry. Our seminars focus on puppet and body manipulation, puppet making, the use of music in theatre and other topics.

We mainly run a puppet theatre, but we organize or cooperate on cultural events for children and adults, we have various puppet shows, a period carousel, a small sound system, a photo corner.

We run a cinema offering screenings of foreign and home produced films or live broadcasts.

The theatre performs plays by local and international playwrights, with around eight premieres a year. The theatre building was built in 1909 according to the design of architect Antonín Balšánek. The theatre company performs on the domestic stage as well as on tours and festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad. Costume rental is available.

A theatre with an intimate theatre environment, the spectator is in direct contact with the actors. In addition to our own productions, we also provide staged readings, concerts and performances for children.

We are a non-professional repertory theatre. We have been active on the cultural scene in Pardubice for more than 20 years. We have staged over 100 premieres and regularly win awards at theatre shows. We perform plays by Czech and international playwrights as well as our own original performances. We also organize concerts and exhibitions.

We operate a theatre with a capacity of 342 seats.
