The municipal district ensures through the municipal district office activities falling within the competence of the local government and performs state administration within the scope set by the Act on the Capital City of Prague, special laws and the Statute of the Capital City of Prague.

We deal with the exercise of delegated powers of state administration and local government in parts of the cadastral territories of Strašnice, Vinohrady, Vysočany and Žižkov. We operate an electronic official board. We deal with requests from citizens. We organise cultural and social events.
