The National Memorial at Vítkov with the Courtyard of Honour, where the ceremonial arrivals of the Czech Army and other ceremonial acts take place. The Ceremonial Hall, the Presidential Lounge and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier are open to the public.
We offer exhibitions, lectures and other events at the National Museum. There is a cloakroom, a café, a children's corner and a shop with publications. The building is wheelchair accessible. We provide access to the exhibition with a pram.
The neoclassical palace-type house was built in 1845-1847. The painted decoration of the palace is one of the most important works of Czech mural painting of the mid-19th century. The Desfours Palace is closed for planned reconstruction.
