The exhibition focuses on the childhood of the Čapek siblings, who used to visit their grandparents at the mill. The local environment became an inspiration for them to write a number of fairy tales. In addition to the Čapek siblings, during the tour you will also meet other important personalities connected with Hronov.
The memorial is dedicated to the personality and work of Karel Čapek, Olga Scheinpflug and Ferdinand Peroutka. We organize guided tours for schools. There is also an educational trail of Karel Čapek. In the museum and bistro you can pay in cash and by card.

The Blatná City Museum is located in the historic centre of Blatná in a pink building at 212 Míru Square near the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and near the Blatná Castle. On the 1st floor of this building there are exhibition spaces, where you will find the permanent exhibition Museum of All Senses and various short-term exhibitions.
