The association’s goal is to promote regional development for the benefit of residents and visitors, municipalities, nonprofit organizations, small business owners and self-employed individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and other entities. We provide EU grants for regional development through the Leader approach. We focus on improving the quality of education in schools within the Jičín Municipal Authority.

We provide practical field conservation and environmental education. We provide tree planting in bio-corridors. We put up and provide the manufacture, cleaning and maintenance of bird boxes. We provide worksheets for schools.

We are dedicated to environmental and science education, guidance and awareness for all age groups, but especially children and young people. We organize educational lectures, seminars, workshops, conferences, social gatherings, educational walks, trips and camps. We are involved in environmental protection.

A community of citizens, non-profit organizations, private business and public administration working together to develop rural areas, agriculture and in obtaining financial support from EU and national programs, for their region, using the LEADER method.

The state vocational secondary school provides instruction in the three-year apprenticeship course in forest mechanic and four-year courses in forestry, mechanisation and services and ecology and environment. There is also the possibility of distance learning. We also offer canteen meals.
