The aim of the association is the protection of the Elbe Rock region and the promotion of tourism, the protection of cultural and natural heritage, entrepreneurship within the region, work with children and youth, nature conservation and eco-activities and the creation of employment opportunities.

We are engaged in comprehensive promotion of tourist opportunities in the Vysočina region. We organize trainings and seminars, meetings of tourist centers, regularly represent the region at fairs and presentations. We help with the creation of tourist products and offer cooperation for tourism businesses.

The state vocational secondary school provides full-time and distance education in four-year courses in forestry and mechanics.

We provide state administration in nature and landscape protection. We monitor the status, changes and development trends of selected habitats and populations of endangered species. We appoint a group of volunteer nature guardians, declare nature reserves and carry out nature surveys or professional monitoring.

We are a state institution focused on the care of the national park and the Labská Sandstones Protected Landscape Area. In addition to the necessary state administration, we provide environmental education and awareness, organize events for the public, coordinate monitoring, research and documentation of natural and cultural heritage.

We are engaged in rural development activities in the area of the villages of Melnik, Kokořín and the Liběchovka basin. We organize educational courses and training. We provide monitoring of development processes. We provide information for the inhabitants.
