The organisation brings together those interested in nature conservation and the environment. The main motive for its creation was the dismal state of pond management in the Svitavsko region and the desire to promote better conservation conditions, especially for birds, not only on these water bodies.

The subject of our interest is the protection of the landscape, its fragmentation and the maintenance of valuable, species-diverse localities in the Krnov region.
