We operate a city museum focusing on documentation and photographs from the expeditions of Dr. Emil Holub. We organize short-term social events and exhibitions.

The villa was built in 1885 by the prominent architect František Schmoranz Sr. for Jiří Larisch-Mönich, a descendant of the famous Uhlobarenos family from Karviná.

Permanent art exhibition and regular exhibitions, lectures and guided tours. The permanent exhibition Transmise refers to the original technical relic in the Automatic Mills building.
