Organizing a theatre festival.

Chamber theatre for 84 spectators. David Švehlík, Barbora Poláková, Richard Krajčo, Jiří Langmajer, František Němec, Jaromír Dulava and others. The theatre bar in the premises from the 11th century. We offer commissioned performances for companies. Since May we have been playing at the Summer Stage in Nový Svět.

We operate a museum that collects, processes and preserves applied art, craftsmanship and design. We conduct basic and applied research in the history of Czech and foreign applied art, design, book culture, photography and clothing.

Collection and preservation of domestic and foreign literature with a focus on technical and natural sciences and economics.

We operate a research library with a study room. There is an on-line catalogue of books and internet access. We lend Czech and specialist literature. We provide lending, reference, reservation and reprographic services. We organize literary talks and other library events.

Bringing together local and international people interested in music. Organisation of scientific conferences and seminars. We provide sales of publications such as Miscellanea from annual conferences and Who's Who in Contemporary Czech Musicology.

Promotion and dissemination of the work of the composer Bohuslav Martinů. The main aim is to collect all available documents from and about the pen of Bohuslav Martinů so that interested musicologists, performers and the general public can study the composer's life and work in the full context of the times.

We run a theatre company. We have 58 members. Currently we have the play The Reviser on our repertoire and we are working on the farce The Naughty Bachelor.
