We operate a library focused on specialized literature. We collect books and journals in education and related fields of social sciences. Our collections include textbooks for primary and secondary schools from the 19th century onwards, educational journals from the 1830s onwards and children's literature from the late 18th century onwards.

Promotion and dissemination of the work of the composer Bohuslav Martinů. The main aim is to collect all available documents from and about the pen of Bohuslav Martinů so that interested musicologists, performers and the general public can study the composer's life and work in the full context of the times.

Providing library services specialising in history, archaeology, mineralogy, geology and zoology. Our collection includes volumes on numismatics, ethnography, art history, botany, geology and paleontology. We also have books from collections of manuscripts, old prints and bibliophilic collections.
