Our ballet school is for children aged 4 and up with an interest in dance. Pupils learn mainly classical dance - ballet, but in school performances and competitions they will also learn about other styles of dance such as modern, stage, folk, couples and jazz.
We run regular classes, open class and intensive flamenco dance workshops for adults. Every trimester we invite experienced teachers from Spain to the academy. Classes are taught with English interpretation. We provide dance performances.
Offering modern and African dance classes, dance workshop tuition and dancing for openings and poetry nights. I choreograph in classical, modern and African dance styles. I perform at corporate events. I produce performances under my own direction.
We offer children preparatory dance education, which is combined with music education and gymnastics. Older children study ballet, folk and modern dance. Ballet classes focus on French dance technique. We prepare students for the dance conservatory of the capital city of Prague, or for the Academy of Performing Arts.
We run a children's folklore group. We process children's material, games, songs and rhymes from the South Moravia region. The repertoire of the ensemble draws mainly from the area of Hradiste Dolňácko, Uherskobrodsko, Kopanice and the Moravian-Slovakian border. We organize regular and extraordinary events.
The International Dance Centre is a society formed by the students of the 5th to 8th year of TCP, the Conservatory-Gymnasium and its associates. It organizes artistic events in the Czech Republic and abroad. Programs for schools and full-length performances of school companies - Baby Ballet Prague and Ballet Prague Junior.
The ballet school was founded in 2012 at the F. X. Šalda Ballet under the direction of ballet soloists Maria Gornalova and Alexey Yurakov. Teaching emphasizes the natural expression of the child in movement and dance and is based on the fundamentals of classical ballet. Students are selected for theatre productions and participate in dance competitions.
