The museum also manages a permanent exhibition of medicine and organises a visit to the Church of St. Peter and Paul with a view of Semily from the church tower from June to September.

The exhibition “Healers of the Pojizeří and Podkrkonoší Regions” features more than thirty notable figures from a broad geographic area, spanning the period from the 18th century to the beginning of the 21st century.

The ruins of Frýdštejn castle is one of the three castles of the Jablonec district. The first mention dates back to 1385. Operation of a historic castle open to the public with guided tours and permanent exhibitions dedicated to the history of the building and important personalities. It includes cultural and social events, exhibitions and programmes for visitors.

Operation of a hunting lodge. We offer Baroque-style interiors, a feast hall with distinctive acoustics, a viewing gallery and a tower with an oval floor plan. On the first floor you can find a 16-metre high banquet hall with distinctive acoustics and on the second floor an observation gallery.

We operate a gallery of ancient art. It includes a collection of casts of ancient sculptures. The exhibition represents a cross-section of the epochs of the development of ancient art. By prior arrangement we provide guided tours and specialist lectures for universities, otherwise tours are conducted individually.

The monumental building from 1898 in the historicist style has been the seat of the Liberec Museum since the beginning, which after a recent reconstruction offers playfulness, interactivity and involvement of the whole family.
