The memorial was built in honour of the victims of the Battle of Austerlitz, as intended by the priest and teacher Alois Slovák in fulfilment of his vision to make the centre of the former battlefield. We operate a museum. The museum has a reading room and a study room. Here are exhibited the oldest surviving documents relating to the village, extensive photo documentation, a collection of old romance books, calendars, old religious literature and printed materials.
