In a building from the 16th century we run a small museum dedicated to the history of the vanished Podskalí, the life of its inhabitants and the Vltava voyage. The exhibition also shows the history of freight and passenger shipping on the Vltava and the beginnings of Vltava steam navigation. There is also a restaurant in the building.

The Museum is a cultural institution preserving a rich collection dedicated to Prague history, which it has accumulated during its existence. The historic steamboat Vyšehrad is home to the only Steamboat Museum in the Czech Republic. The exhibition traces more than 160 years of the history of Prague Steamboat Navigation and chronicles the development of river transport on the Vltava River.
