In a building from the 16th century we run a small museum dedicated to the history of the vanished Podskalí, the life of its inhabitants and the Vltava voyage. The exhibition also shows the history of freight and passenger shipping on the Vltava and the beginnings of Vltava steam navigation. There is also a restaurant in the building.

The Museum is a cultural institution preserving a rich collection dedicated to Prague history, which it has accumulated during its existence. The town hall was established in 1338 as the seat of the Old Town's self-government. The oldest part of the complex is the south wing with a magnificent tower with a bay chapel and a unique astronomical clock on which the 12 apostles appear every hour (9 am - 11 pm).
