Salm Palace is a classical three-winged palace-type building on Hradčany Square. It was originally intended to be a luxury apartment building that belonged to the Schwarzenbergs, who combined it with the neighbouring Schwarzenberg Palace. In 2004, the building was taken over by the National Gallery Prague.

The exhibition Old Masters presents a selection of the most important masterpieces from the NGP collection.

The museum presents the life's work of the world-renowned filmmaker Karel Zeman and his film tricks that made Czech cinema famous in the 20th century. The museum is unique in its playful and interactive concept - offering you the opportunity to get involved. Photography and filming are recommended.
