We operate a museum focusing on education and education issues. In addition to the permanent exhibition, we also organise short-term exhibitions. We are a research centre focused on the history of Czech education, pedagogy, teaching and education in relation to the life, work and legacy of J. A. Comenius.

The Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague's Old Town is one of the most important architectural monuments of Prague and the Czech Republic. It is one of the top works of Prague's Baroque architecture and is an excellent example of the Baroque living and lifestyle of the aristocracy of the time.

The old sewage treatment plant is an important document of the history of architecture, technology and water management. It was built between 1901 and 1906 and served until 1967. Today it is a national cultural monument and open to the public. Unique are the preserved working steam engines from 1903.

We manage a cemetery founded in the first half of the 15th century, one of the best preserved monuments of the Prague Jewish town. The cemetery was the location for the filming of Maharal - The Secret of the Talisman and Encounters in Prague.

We operate a gallery dedicated to Czech authors. We regularly produce paintings, photographs and sculptures.

The gallery was established in November 2009 and serves as a multifunctional space focused mainly on photography and new media.

The Jewish cemetery was founded in 1680 as a plague burial ground by the Prague Jewish community. It is an important artistic and historical monument. It is the so-called first Israeli cemetery in Olšany.

We take care of collections of Czech art of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, a number of public sculptures in Prague, including the sculptures of Charles Bridge. The exhibition programme is oriented towards the presentation of Czech and foreign art of the period and introducing the public to the work of contemporary artists.

The seat of the Bohemian monarchs, the seat of the chapter, a preserved Baroque fortress with long and dark casemates, the final resting place of Bohemian greats. This charming site with a distinctive genius loci invites visitors to the park, permanent exhibitions and cultural events in the Old Purkrabstvo.

The exhibition Old Masters presents a selection of the most important masterpieces from the NGP collection.

Operation of a natural history museum with departments of Mineralogical-Petrological, Palaeontological, Mycological, Botanical, Entomological, Anthropological, Zoological and a ringing station.

The Kinsky Palace, NGP's central building on Old Town Square, regularly hosts the most important short-term projects. In past years, works by Gerhard Richter, Rousseau the Customs Officer and Jiří Kolář have been exhibited here. Follow the exhibition programme on our website.

The Museum of Memory of the XXth Century was founded in 2019 by the City of Prague. It organizes exhibitions, debates, seminars, conferences, historical walks and various events for schools. It is preparing a permanent exhibition devoted to Czechoslovakia and totalitarianism, which will open in the House of the Passion at Hradčany in 2026.
