The museum is located in the building of the former Magdeburg Barracks, which served as the headquarters of the so-called Jewish Self-Government during the ghetto era. Today, this building houses extensive exhibitions presenting to the public the unique artistic, musical, literary and theatrical works of the ghetto inhabitants.

Offer tours of the castle ruins. The castle is a venue for various cultural events. You can see various exhibitions, Easter events, Medieval Day, Castle Night or the traditional witch burning. It is possible to organize weddings.

We run a devil themed museum. We offer performances and exhibitions. The museum is located in the Gothic underground, in a place where real devils have been proven to exist. There is also an exhibition of wooden sculptures by the Stejný couple or prints and illustrations of devils by Karel Franta.

This part of the Terezín fortress system from the end of the 18th century served as a prison already in the times of the Habsburg monarchy. Among the prisoners at that time was, for example, Gavrilo Princip, the main executor of the assassination of the heir to the throne, F.F. d'Este, in Sarajevo in 1914.

We offer a tour of Karel Hynek Mácha's room where the poet lived and died on 6 November 1836. The memorial presents Mácha's life in the town and his works.

Many other castles may have more extensive ruins and a richer history, but the certainty that the feared rector of the Hussite wars, Attila of Our Country, resided here, combined with the beautiful nature surrounding the castle, lends a special, awe-inspiring charm to a visit to Kalich.

I offer tours of the castle and the castle park where the films The Prince and the Countess, The Red Riding Hood, The Games of Love, Of Living Water and The Prince and I were filmed. The Baroque villa Octavia Broggia was built between 1720 and 1725 by Anne Marie Francis, wife of Duke Gaston III. The possibility of organizing weddings.

In the building of the former municipal weighing scale there is a permanent exhibition dedicated to the deportations of Jews to Terezín and the deportations from the Terezín ghetto to the labour camps and especially to the extermination camps. The exhibition is not open all the time and can only be visited by appointment.

The permanent exhibition of the museum is not currently accessible, it is in the preparation phase. Visitors can, however, see the exhibition Houses Tell - the Architecture of Litoměřice, view the interiors of the old town hall or browse through an exhibition on its history and reconstruction in the arcade and courtyard of the museum.

During World War II, this building was a home for Jewish boys (10-15 years old). Nowadays there is a museum with an exhibition about the history of the ghetto and the persecution of Jews in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the youngest victims of the ghetto.
