Late Gothic church built after the fire of the town in 1515 according to the plans of Jacob Heilmann of Schweinfurt. The Duchcov Chateau was built in 1675-1685 by Jan Bedřich of Wallenstein according to the plans of the architect Jean Baptiste Mathey on the site of an older Renaissance Lobkowitz mansion.
