Jewish provides primarily for the religious and cultural life of its members and their social needs. Within the scope of its activities it takes care of cultural and religious monuments. Within its capabilities, the JC promotes the education of its members in Jewish traditions and contributes to general education about Judaism and Jewish history.
Running a refuge, hostel and low threshold day centre. We offer accommodation and assistance to homeless people to help them deal with their adversity and help them integrate back into society. All day meals are available.
Holding services and religious meetings in an evangelical church. The modern evangelical church in the centre of the town was built between 1907 and 1908 according to a design by the German architect Otto Kuhlmann. The church was declared a cultural monument in 1995. The building was completely destroyed by floods in 1997.
The congregation holds worship services, Bible study sessions, and meetings for various age groups; an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting takes place every Wednesday at 6 p.m.
We operate a parish of the Roman Catholic Church. We organize services, spiritual meetings, confessions. We offer afternoon gatherings for children or religious instruction. We believe in the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, reconciliation, marriage, priesthood, anointing of the sick, burial and ordination.
The Czechoslovak Hussite Church is a Christian church. It was founded in 1920 by separation from the Roman Catholic Church. Its theology, liturgy and religious life of its congregations were influenced by the traditions of the Czech and world Reformation, but also by the tradition of primitive Christianity and the heritage of Cyril and Methodius. We are an open community.
We run a charity wardrobe that serves the underprivileged. It is possible to bring donated clothes for the needy. It is also the seat of the charity's headquarters, pastoral assistant and the coordinator of the Tříkrál collection.
We focus on providing charitable and humanitarian aid to people in need. We organize trips to Svatý Hostýn for citizens who cannot travel by public transport due to their health condition.
