The Czechoslovak Hussite Church is a Christian church. It was founded in 1920 by separation from the Roman Catholic Church. Its theology, liturgy and religious life of its congregations were influenced by the traditions of the Czech and world Reformation, but also by the tradition of primitive Christianity and the heritage of Cyril and Methodius. We are an open community.
We organize religious services and spiritual meetings. We organize tours, concerts, exhibitions and lectures. We take up collections and provide assistance to those in need.
Collection of unnecessary clothing, possibility of renting compensatory aids. Organizing leisure programs for the elderly. We work with people with disabilities and specialise in targeting people with learning disabilities and mental illness.
We run a charity wardrobe that serves the underprivileged. It is possible to bring donated clothes for the needy. It is also the seat of the charity's headquarters, pastoral assistant and the coordinator of the Tříkrál collection.
The parish's main purpose is to provide spiritual facilities for Roman Catholic Christians living in its area. We celebrate regular services at the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius. We strive to promote all that is good, beautiful and true. We care for cultural heritage.
