The castle was built in the first half of the 18th century. Tours of the Baroque chateau where the films The Red Nosed Reindeer, Angel Face and Undying Love were filmed. We offer tours of the Renaissance castle, where the fairy tales The Emperor and the Tambor and The Magic Purse were filmed. Náměšt' was founded in the valley of the Oslava River around 1220. The first written mention of the settlement of the site of today's chateau dates back to 1234. It is possible to organize weddings, seminars, receptions and concerts.

We provide exhibitions and lectures. We are dedicated to organizing programs for children and schools, concerts, competitions and accompanying events. Regular visitors can use a loyalty card. A part of the zoological depository with stuffed birds, mammals, fish and amphibians and trophies from hunting expeditions is open to the public.

It was built on a narrow rocky promontory about 70 m above the level of the Želetavky River. It is possible to organize weddings, corporate events and celebrations.
