The Horácká Gallery has been housed in the historic building of the Nové Město Castle since 1964. We provide presentations of exhibitions of Czech and world art of the 20th to 21st century in baroque houses and in the Romanesque cellar. There is a lecture centre, a children's corner and a café. Various art courses and other activities are organized within the lecture centre.

Emperor Rudolf II was a passionate lover and collector of horses. For this passion he had new magnificent stables built around 1583. Nowadays, this magnificent stable is used for exhibition purposes and short-term exhibitions are held here.
