The Mahen Memorial is a unique multifunctional place and was created not only as a reminder of the life and work of Jiří Mahen, but also as a realization of his ideas about the library as a cultural and community centre. The Musical and Dramatic Laboratory is a new theatre venue of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno. We operate a theatre that primarily serves the needs of student musical theatre, i.e. opera and musical.
