The first written report dates back to 1365. The village is located at an altitude of 398 metres.

A new permanent exhibition "City and the World" will open in the modernized building of the town museum, which places the non-European collection in the local context of Moravská Třebová's history, as part of the Museum Night on 6 June 2026 at 4 pm. Operation of the House of Culture.

The cultural house is divided into the original part (the hunting lodge) and the new building (the annex). These two parts can be rented separately or together after agreement with the operator (municipality). There is also an outdoor area of the cultural centre, which includes a covered wooden terrace with a kiosk and seating for 80 people.

Castle founded at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, declared a national cultural monument in 1999. It acquired the appearance of a romantic mansion with battlements, bay windows, loopholes and gargoyles after extensive reconstruction. The fairy tales The Princess Jasněnka and the Flying Shoemaker, The Kingdom of the Streams and Ondřej the Bear were filmed here.

The building of the Kunčina House of Culture has been used for many decades for balls, parties, meetings, celebrations, carnivals, theatre performances and cinema.
