The faculty offers studies in nearly seventy humanities disciplines in bachelor, master and doctoral programs in full-time and combined form.

The Faculty of Health Studies offers Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Orthotics-Prosthetics, General Nursing, Midwifery, Radiological Assisting, Paramedic, Laboratory Diagnostics in Health Care, General Nursing; Master of Science in Nursing.

We operate a faculty that offers bachelor's, postgraduate master's and doctoral degree programs in transportation. We focus on areas such as transport infrastructure, management and economics of transport and telecommunications, automation in transport, intelligent transport systems and others.

In our activities, we are dedicated to the development of humanities-oriented fields of study, especially philology, pedagogy and other social sciences, selected medical fields, as well as creative activities related to these fields.

Faculty offering degree programs in general medicine and non-medical health professions. The faculty includes the departments of internal medicine, surgery, anatomy, histology and embryology or biomedical sciences, pathological anatomy and forensic medicine as well as others.

We offer medical studies in bachelor, master and doctoral programs in full-time and combined form. We provide a series of lectures for general practitioners as part of lifelong learning.

The SIMLEK Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava has the same equipment as a real hospital. There is medical equipment and parts of pre-hospital care.

The faculty offers education focused on pharmacy. It operates departments of applied pharmacy, human pharmacology and toxicology, chemical and natural drugs, drug technology, physical education and sports, foreign languages and history of veterinary medicine.
