The institute provides teaching of undergraduate courses in general nursing and biomedical technology.

Operation of a mechanical engineering faculty and departments of power equipment, applied cybernetics, mechanics, flexibility and strength, materials, machining and assembly, engineering technology, glass machinery and robotics, machine parts and mechanisms, textile and single purpose machinery, vehicles and engines, manufacturing systems.

Operation of the textile faculty and departments of textile materials, clothing, textile technology, design, textile chemistry, technology and management of clothing production, evaluation of textiles and non-wovens.

The Technical University provides studies at seven faculties. There are seven faculties of engineering, textiles, science, humanities and pedagogy, economics, art and architecture, mechatronics, informatics and interdisciplinary studies and health studies. There is also an institute for nanomaterials, advanced technologies and innovation.

The faculty provides teaching of study programmes focused on teaching for primary and secondary schools and prepares professionals in the humanities and natural sciences. The traditional task of the faculty is to prepare teachers for the first and second level of primary schools and in some subjects also for secondary schools.

Faculty provides instruction in degree programs focused on computer science and its connection to technology or logistics operations. Operation of the Institute of Information Technology and Electronics, Mechatronics and Technical Informatics as well as New Technologies and Applied Informatics.

The faculty provides teaching of study programmes in economics and management, systems engineering and computer science and economic policy and administration. Operation of departments of computer science, finance and accounting, economics, economic statistics, foreign languages, marketing and business or business economics and management.
