The Faculty of Economics is one of the largest economic faculties in the Czech Republic. Students can choose from a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, some of which have a unique position in economic faculties in the Czech Republic.

The faculty offers bachelor, master and doctoral degree programs in engineering and mechanical engineering. The subjects of engineering mechanics, to which the field of elasticity and strength belongs, have always been cultivated there in conjunction with mineral extraction technology.

We offer professional education programs MBA, DBA, BBA and LLM aimed at expanding managerial skills. The 1-year course is taught in a combined and online format. The SIMLEK Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava has the same equipment as a real hospital. There is medical equipment and parts of pre-hospital care.
