170 years of tradition, uniqueness in the Czech Republic, promising study programmes integrating technology and engineering together with economic and ecological aspects, the possibility of studying abroad, state-of-the-art equipment, cooperation with industrial practice - all this is the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology.

The faculty offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies in electrical engineering and computer science. The faculty includes the Department of Electrical Engineering, Applied Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Physics.

Public university type college, member of the European University Association. Currently offers for study at 3 faculties and 2 institutes of higher education together more than 60 disciplines at bachelor, postgraduate and doctoral level. Selected courses are also taught in English.

Offering degree programmes in economic policy and administration, economics, management, systems engineering and computer science. Possibility to study within the framework of lifelong learning.

More than a thousand students study at the faculty, of which mainly students of master's and doctoral programmes are regularly involved in creative activities and the implementation of their own research activities. The study is carried out in a credit system based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

Offering a degree with a humanities and science focus. Master's and doctoral studies include student involvement in research and artistic activities at the national and international level. Successful students are offered opportunities to complete part of their studies at partner institutions abroad.
