The guard house No. 1 is a national cultural monument and a branch of the South Bohemian Museum.

We exhibit historical weapons, hunting uniforms and trophies We run exhibitions in the fields of forestry, hunting, fishing, forest cultivation, logging and transport. We prepare accompanying and educational programmes for schools. We organise short-term exhibitions. We organise events for the public.

The exhibition describes the development of tourism in the Czech Republic and Europe, the development of the Czech Tourist Club including its activities and historical buildings.

You will find permanent exhibitions Hussites, Life in the Middle Ages, Gothic Hall or the Kotnov observation tower. We offer exhibitions of the nature of Tábor, ethnography of Blat and Kozácko. We also organize exhibitions, lectures and natural history excursions for children and adults.

The South Bohemian Museum in České Budějovice is one of the most important cultural institutions in South Bohemia. It was founded in 1877 as one of the oldest regional museums.

We are an association that takes care of the operation and repairs of the Kruslov apiary. We provide guided tours. We organize cultural events, lectures and courses.

Operation of a museum. There is a permanent exhibition of folk painted furniture from South Bohemia and an exhibition Fish and People, Rosenbergs and Pondkeepers in South Bohemia and Waldviertel.

In the museum there is an exhibition of the history of the postal industry in our territory from 1526 to the present day. There is a collection of 19th century carriages, carts and sleighs, historical postal uniforms, mailboxes, payroll and ploughing machines.
