We operate a museum of the international language Esperanto. The exhibition maps the history and present of the Esperanto movement in the Czech Republic and abroad. There are exhibition panels, book displays, multimedia documents on the computer and also on an interactive touch screen.

The museum is housed in the baroque building of the original Piarist schools, known as the scene of Alois Jirásek's Philosophical History. It offers a modern exhibition on the history of Litomyšl with archaeological excavations in situ, a number of unique objects and a rich children's program. It organizes short-term exhibitions.

The museum presents life in the early Iron Age through period crafts, educational programmes and seasonal festivals. It is an ideal destination for families and school groups looking for an interactive insight into history in an authentic oppidum setting.
