The library is one of the largest branches of the KJM with a high quality book collection, which is also widely used by visitors to other branches, and it organises events for the public. The branch has a book box and a Family Point with a changing table. Wheelchair access to the adult section is provided by a platform.

It has a separate department for adult and children readers, it implements educational programmes for schools and organises a number of cultural and educational events for the general public.
