The library manages more than 400,000 specialized publications and periodicals in social sciences, arts and sciences. It provides its services not only to the museum staff but also to the general public. Most of the literature is intended for full-time study only.
We offer library services. The library includes a lending library with books for children and adults, a reading room and a study room. We provide bibliographic and information services and reprographic services. We lend fiction, popular science literature, maps, magazines, foreign language literature and more. We organize library events.
Offering library services specializing in Jewish topics. We provide documents with a focus on Hebrew studies, Judaic studies, history, anti-Semitism and the Holocaust. The library regularly adds literature by Jewish authors and books with Jewish themes.
The library belongs to the middle branches of the KJM and besides books it also offers toys, board games and didactic aids from the Lekotéka project, audio books, umbrellas and glasses. Parents with young children can use the playroom and the baby changing area. There is internet, wi-fi, a study area and photocopying facilities.
We run a research library specialising in archaeology and associated subjects. We have an on-line catalogue of books and internet access. We provide lending, research, interlibrary loan and photocopying services. We cooperate with foreign libraries.
