The mission of the NOE Frýdek-Místek Independent Living Support Service is to provide support to adults with intellectual disabilities and experience of mental illness so that they can live independently.
We offer home health care. We provide health checks, blood pressure monitoring, blood draws, medication preparation and administration. We also offer rehabilitation, counseling, crutch and walker training, breathing exercises and bedsore care. We rent medical equipment. We provide first aid training.
We provide one-on-one assistance and support to seniors and people with disabilities or chronic illnesses in caring for themselves. We offer assistance with serving food and drink, dressing and undressing, and moving independently indoors and outdoors.
We operate a home for the elderly who find themselves in a difficult life situation. We create conditions for the care and support of the users and a more active integration of life. We provide conditions for the users to live in dignity in one living space. We provide round-the-clock assistance.
We can arrange home health care for patients. For example, we provide wound care and dressings, prevention of pressure sores, injections and infusions and other professional help. If home health care is prescribed by a physician, it is covered by insurance.
We provide social assistance and support to the elderly. We create conditions for meeting the needs of users with regard to their individual personal needs and wishes. We provide accommodation, provision of meals, care and optional acts. The capacity is 44 users.
We provide field social services. We are the founder of professional social service workplaces in various parts of the Czech Republic, which include facilities for care services, respite services or other services related to the care of the user in his own social environment.
We provide nursing services in the city and its parts. We provide social investigation and basic social counselling. The staff consists of 5 social workers and the head of the care service, who also carries out social investigations and basic social counselling.
We operate a day care centre and provide services to people with intellectual disabilities and combined disabilities. We advise users on options for dealing with their adverse situation. We provide assistance in coping with routine self-care tasks and other services.
