District courts have subject matter jurisdiction over most civil and criminal cases in the first instance. We also conduct first instance proceedings in foreclosure, probate and guardianship matters.

The Association brings together independent arbitrators specialising in arbitration and mediators and provides them with administrative and other support necessary for the proper conduct of arbitration proceedings. It is also a forum for discussion and consultation and a platform for the exchange of experience in the field of arbitration and substantive law.
