Our children's home is a facility whose mission is to provide a home for children whose own family has been deeply broken up, parents have died or children are in a desperate situation. It is also designed to provide a transitional environment until a permanent transition back to their own or foster family is subsequently resolved.

We operate an educational institute for boys over 15 years of age with severe behavioural disorders who have been ordered to be institutionalized or placed on protective custody. The capacity of the facility is 48 children. In relation to the children, it mainly performs educational, training and social tasks.

Early Care and Education is a social service providing specialist support to families of children with disabilities or developmental risks due to adverse health conditions. It focuses both on supporting the family as a whole and on supporting the child's development with regard to their specific needs.

The social service is intended for adults with reduced self-sufficiency who have a chronic mental illness (e.g. schizophrenia, manic-depressive illness), as a result of which they are unable to obtain long-term employment on the open or sheltered labour market.

Our mission is to support the family as a unique environment for meeting the needs of the child through the provision of social services and other professional and social activities, to increase the proportion of foster family care in the service system for children without a family background.

ACORUS, z. ú. provides persons at risk of domestic violence with comprehensive professional assistance aimed at overcoming their unfavourable social situation and integrating them into normal life without the presence of violence.

We offer professional rehabilitation and reconditioning programs. We offer leisure activities. We organize convalescent stays. Our aim is to reintegrate the long-term and permanently ill and the elderly back into society and to focus on the prevention of civilisation diseases.

Social service facilities. The services offered include a weekly residential home, a home for people with disabilities, social therapy workshops, professional social counselling, social activation services for families with children and a low-threshold facility for children and youth.

We contact children and young people aged 6-20 in the city of Karviná in places that are close to these groups - parks, benches, playgrounds, housing estates. Our mission is to act preventively, to provide advice, help and support in situations that children and young people face.

The operation of a diagnostic institute providing care for children who have not completed compulsory schooling, children who have been ordered into institutional education, ordered into protective education or ordered into precautionary measures.

Operation of a children's diagnostic facility with a focus on institutional or protective education and preventive educational care. We place children in children's homes, children's homes with school or educational institutions. A child's stay in a diagnostic institution usually lasts eight weeks.
