In the second half of the 18th century, the construction of the castle, the castle garden and the interior furnishings were completed.

The first mention of the castle dates back to 1348, according to archaeological findings, the building stood here as early as the late 13th or early 14th century. Pátek Castle was originally a summer palace built between 1544 and 1557 by John the Younger of Lobkowitz, one of the richest noblemen in the Czech Kingdom. It is one of the first purely Renaissance buildings in Bohemia. Towards the end of the 17th century it was rebuilt in Baroque style and surrounded by a farmyard.

The chateau was built between 1548 and 1565.In the 18th century, during the reign of Albert of Hodice, it was rebuilt in Baroque style and a park was created. Currently, there is one historical tour circuit in the castle and the other circuit is a regional museum. Cultural and social events are held here.
