The Museum of Memory of the XXth Century was founded in 2019 by the City of Prague. It organizes exhibitions, debates, seminars, conferences, historical walks and various events for schools. The neoclassical palace-type house was built in 1845-1847. The painted decoration of the palace is one of the most important works of Czech mural painting of the mid-19th century. The Desfours Palace is closed for planned reconstruction.
