The Montanelli Museum is one of the few private, nonprofit institutions dedicated to modern visual arts in the Czech Republic. Its long list of exhibitions held in Prague, other parts of the country, and abroad is a testament to its open approach and the broad scope of its program. The museum is operated by the DrAK Foundation.

The former Franciscan monastery in Votice now serves as a museum and gallery. There are permanent exhibitions: the Life of the Franciscans, the Homeland Museum, the Collective Work in Votice, paintings by Vladislav Kaska and Carriages and Dolls. The monastery also hosts seasonal exhibitions, lectures, concerts and other events.

The museum also manages a permanent exhibition of medicine and organises a visit to the Church of St. Peter and Paul with a view of Semily from the church tower from June to September.
