The Krnov Municipal Library offers library and information services for the general public. It provides lending of books, audiobooks, magazines, board games and other documents, access to the Internet and on-line catalogue. It organises talks, exhibitions and educational programmes for schools and the public.

A publicly accessible library and a contributory organization, whose founder is the City of Bruntál. Since 2015, the library has been housed in the reconstructed building of the former German Boys' Seminary, which has been a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 2002.
