A publicly accessible library and a contributory organization, whose founder is the City of Bruntál. Since 2015, the library has been housed in the reconstructed building of the former German Boys' Seminary, which has been a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 2002.

We provide library services including internet access, photocopying or searching the online catalogue. We organize literary talks and library classes. We run adult, children's and youth, music and information services departments. We also provide an interlibrary loan service.
